An Editor’s Memo 11/10/2016

Sure, this election cycle has been divisive. We had to stand around and watch, so much of it out of our personal control. But isn’t this what the United States of America is all about-the freedom to elect our leaders? And while maybe we didn’t exactly like our choices, one thing is true about our great country. The rules and laws work – to a greater extent over the lesser extents.
What interesting about our current protests is that they are still being bought by George Soros via MoveOn.org. These are a home-grown, Occupy Wall Street, “Can I borrow your charger for my iPad” types. In other words, these are brats.
These are people who didn’t get their way. But think about it – 8 years ago, these kids were barely teenagers, if that. They were helicopter-parented all the way through their college years (some of whom are still in college). If they lost – they still got ice cream. Now, all of a sudden, reality hit. And the helicopter parent has no control over the coach’s decision. So let the tantrums begin, because the “Little Joey” couldn’t get their way.
What’s the alternative? Hillary wins by cheating (Wikileaks bares this cold truth out LumpyNews.com/Wikileaks). The death spiral of the United States continues its ever tighter turn into mediocrity while certain people, the Elite in particular, continue to get cash on the backs of foreign and domestic people. And let’s just say for argument’s sake that “Little Joey” comes home from getting caught cheating on a test.
“Why did you cheat? – Don’t you know that cheaters never win?”
“Well President Clinton Cheated, and now she’s president!”

Good luck with that.
The reality is that when you lose in real life, you don’t get ice cream. The reality of life is that it’s not fair. The sooner we get past this, and are intellectually honest with ourselves, the better. Day to day operations should stay the same for most working people. This is certainly a tide change. Whether or not it’s a tsunami of a tide is yet to be written.
